My California roots run deep. I was born and raised in the East Bay Area, and I have served Berkeley and the surrounding cities as a State Farm® agent for 17 years. You may have seen my face around town on a billboard or two! I’m proud to help my neighbors with all things insurance—from auto insurance, home insurance, and commercial insurance to life insurance, and financial services. I have been with State Farm for 32 years. I got my start in claims, and then opened my first agency in Hayward in 1996. I served my neighbors there for a couple years before moving into Agency Leadership until 2003. I missed working directly with people though, and I’m glad to be a local agent again. My experience on both sides of the company gives me a unique perspective and deep understanding of the full process. Helping my customers understand what they need is important to me, and I’m dedicated making sure they know why the right coverage is so important. My experienced team and I can walk you through every scenario and claim, and our commitment to quality service has been recognized by State Farm with the Gold Honor Award for the Legion of Honor.I believe in having a personal connection with my customers and community, both at the office and in my daily life. I lead workshops to help my neighbors plan for the future, and I also sponsor events for local businesses and charities that are important to my customers. I have been a part of the State Farm family for as long as I could remember. My mother has been an agent for over 20 years so it’s safe to say I was born into the State Farm family. Growing up, I always wanted to go to work with mom. At age 10, I was handling tasks such as making little favors for the customers, labeling brochures, and putting together marketing bags to use at conferences. Little did I know I would soon find out what it really meant to work for State Farm. The age 18 to some meant that they were no longer considered a minor, but to me it meant I was finally able to obtain my licenses needed to be able to transact insurance. I finally would know what auto coverage’s were or what limits would benefit our customers. I could finally use the cool screens that I always saw my mom refer to when talking to customers. At first, I was eager to obtain my licenses to help my mother out, however, in the process I developed my own personal relationship with State Farm. Why wouldn’t I want to be a part of a company that always takes care of their customers no matter what? I have had the pleasure to witness firsthand how reliable State Farm is, which gives me confidence when speaking to customers and I can assure them that they are in great hands. Working for State Farm has helped me understand what really matters, which is helping others and I am proud that I get to do this for a living.

I received my AA in Liberal Arts and Social Behavior from Contra Costa College. After spending 15 years in the Customer Service Industry, I decided it was time to make an impact on a larger scale. Being the daughter of 20+ year agent, Lazena Kelly-Andrada, it’s only right that I am an active part of the State Farm family. Insurance is in my blood. It is my birth right. I began to personally build my relationship with the insurance industry at 16. I was a newly licensed driver, and was beyond upset that my car insurance policy had to have the maximum limits and lowest deductibles. I was convinced my mother just wanted to get extra premium from me. However, being on the other side of the line when an insured does not have adequate coverage quickly changed my perspective and willingness to pay. I was eagerly encouraged to complete the licensing requirements needed in order to transact insurance at the tender age of 18. Just like having the highest coverage, this was something I felt I had to do to support the family business, you know? As I finally started to transact insurance, I grew very fond of the consumer journey. I quickly recognized and appreciated the significant role I had to help customers protect what matters most to them. I’ have seen first hand the difference in outcome between a household that has adequate insurance vs a household that has the bare minimum. I make it my mission to ensure that every customer or potential customer that I interact with knows how to successfully complete a Needs Analysis and build a coverage plan that is not only reasonable but also protects what they love

I moved to the Bay Area in 2010, and got married not too long after in 2011. I am the other of two wonderful children. I am a proud 2014 graduate of Heald College where I earned my AA in Business Administration. I previously worked for Lazena's State Farm Insurance business from 2014-2016, and left to start my family. While employed Lazena stressed the value of having life insurance and that stuck with me ever since. So much so, that I got life insurance policies shortly after both of my children were born. I have complete satisfaction knowing that my family is properly insured if anything were to happen.
