"I have been a member of State Farm for decades, through all my cars. Of all of the offices, I have found the Lazena Kelly-Andrada one to be the most personable and whose specialists take time to individualize the needs of their members and take care of all emergencies professionally, compassionately, and right away. "LET’S GET REAL FOLKS! If you ever have a horrendous experience with a business, you then want to review them and to your surprise, you see that they have rave reviews, like almost a perfect record, like in this case a 4.8 star average, please consider the services of businesses called 'Reputation Management Companies'. Ask yourself, what do these people (RMC’s) do exactly?? That answer can make things pretty clear... Furthermore, all kinds of people everywhere in our society are getting burned time and time again by this industry called the 'INSURANCE Industry' where the only one thing that is actually guaranteed is, 'YOU WILL PAY A PREMIUM!!!'. Everything else is up in the air, if you know what I mean...!!?? So really, an insurance agent in probably one of the shadiest industries that exists has a 4.8 out of 5 track record?? Something seems wrong… Anyhow, you get the point, let's now speak about what actually happened to me in this case. I was shopping for insurance. This office gave me a quote. Since the quote was the lowest of what I think to be reputable companies, that is speaking in relative terms, I decided to move forward with them. After they signed me up and took my down payment, then they tell me I have to wait two weeks before my policy would start and I would not have coverage till then. Loosely put, the following conversation ensued: Shouldn't you have told me that before taking my money?? Okay so now what? You can go ahead and find another temporary policy in the meantime… Do you have a number or company I can call? Just Google it... Wow, that is amazing, what a start with a 4.8 star agent, oh don't be cynical, it will be fine, the shopping paid off... Couple of weeks pass and I get a bill in the mail. The bill that was supposed to be about $90 turns out to be about $130. What is this?? I call in to the office and the agent says she will check into the issue and get back to me. She gets back to me by email within about a day. Oh sir you have a point on your record from 2018 that you did not tell us about and after 6 years when that falls off the price will adjust, so don’t worry about it... What?? 6 years? I thought the time frame is 3 years and should you not have known that information when you provided the price quote? It says right here on Google that when you accept the payment, that means you have signed a binding contract. So I check in with my homeowner's agent and he confirms that all agents have had access to DMV records for about 20 years where they can get instant information for the purposes of giving quotes to customers. Anyhow so I went ahead and cancelled the policy and will sign up with another company for my auto insurance. Misled not once but twice in one dealing with this office. Good luck out there...."
